Munakka is made by drying grapes. You might wonder that Kishmish is also made by drying grapes but, both of them are different. Munakka is the one with seed, whereas Kishmish is the one without seed. Also, they are different in their properties. But, both of them are sweet in taste. Here, today we will be focussing on Munakka, as they are quite nutritious as well as beneficial for our body. Especially in winters we must include them in our diet because they help in strengthening our immune system. Let’s look into the principal benefits of Munakka.

Maintain your gut health

If you have a problem of constipation, then you must eat Munakka everyday in the morning on an empty stomach. This  will help you get rid of this problem. Actually, it absorbs water in the stomach and then removes the problem of constipation. The fiber and anti-oxidant properties present in it also strengthen the digestive system and maintains your gut health.

Helps against Sore Throat

If you are facing the problem of sore throat, or even dryness and itchiness in your throat then you must try to eat Munakka. For throat you must eat 4-5 pieces of it and remember don’t intake water immediately after eating them. It has antibacterial properties, which will help you get rid of your sore throat.

Assists in cases of Anaemia

Iron is found in large amounts in Munakka, which has the power to fight against anaemia. They also fulfil the need of vitamin B complex which is needed for making of blood. Apart from this, plenty of copper is also found in them, which further helps in the formation of RBCs (red blood cells). Wash and soak about 10 to 12 pieces of Munakka in water at night. After waking up in the morning, take them out from water, remove their seeds and chew them well. This will increases blood in the body. Besides making blood, it even purifies the blood. To achieve results, it should be consumed for 2 to 4 weeks.

Beneficial for Teeth

Eating Munakka can also reduce the problem of your teeth. Another great benefit of them, as they contain a phytochemical called oleanolic acid that provides protection against all kinds of dental problems. If you are troubled by any kind of toothaches or other related problems, then eating these dried grapes can be beneficial for you. They also work in eliminating bacteria present in the mouth.

Boost immunity in children

Children are more vulnerable to falling ill. So we need to take extra care of their immunity. Here, Munakka comes to the rescue. Either, you can give it to children directly or you can also heat them with milk and then feed it to children, 5 to 6 pieces must be consumed in a day. This will keep them healthy and strengthen their immunity.
