A mixture of Pomegranate, pear and beetroot:
If your baby is above 9 months then you can feed this healthy mixture to him/her. All the ingredients like pomegranate, beetroot and pear are rich in nutrients, so including them in your babies’ diet will be beneficial for them. Here is how you can prepare this:
What you need?
To prepare a healthy bowl of it, you need 4 washed and peeled beetroot bulbs, one peeled and sliced pear and one pomegranate.
- Boil beetroot in water for 20 minutes till bulbs become soft. Now cool the beetroot and drain the water.
- Meanwhile, peel the pomegranate and separate only red grains from it.
- Now grind the pomegranate grains with peeled and chopped pears and beetroot in a blender.
- After that filter it and take it out in a bowl.
- Your baby superfood is ready.
You should feed beetroot to your baby only after 8-10 months. It is rich in potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron along with vitamins A, B, C, K and E. Beetroot keeps many diseases at bay from your baby like diarrhea, beriberi, rickets. Beetroot is a very good source of hemoglobin and prevents your baby from anemia.
If we talk about Pomegranate, it is rich in vitamins A and E, potassium, iron, fiber, folic acid and minerals. It also contains Vitamin C which helps in fighting infections by boosting the immunity of the baby.
