- Vitamin A reduces the risk of asthma attacks. This makes the functioning of the lungs efficient. Carrots, sweet potatoes and green leafy vegetables are good sources of vitamin A.
- Magnesium keeps your lungs healthy. Things like dark chocolate, pumpkin seeds, spinach, salmon fish are rich in magnesium.
- Eating apples reduces the risk of an asthma attack. Contrary to common belief, banana also helps in reducing the problem of asthma in children. Bananas contain potassium, which improves the functioning of the lungs.
